Looking for something a little faster with a greater range?
If you are looking for an electric scooter for a medium to long range commute; consider the Farsta 6000 with its real world 120 mile range and top speed approaching 65 mph. Although it is a much more powerful bike, it is still technically classified as a 125cc scooter and can be ridden on a CBT. It can be equipped with a top box and pannier kit. Its 6KW motor is powered by an internal 100Ah battery which charges to 80% capacity from an ordinary domestic 3 pin plug in around 7 hours. The bike has 3 riding modes: eco, town and sport and a useful reversing gear. With twin ventilated disc brakes this is the ideal bike for riders needing a longer range.
