If you are looking for an electric scooter for a medium to long range commute; consider the Farsta 6000 with its real world 135 mile range and top speed approaching 65 mph.  Although it is a much more powerful bike, it is still technically classified as a 125cc scooter and can be ridden on a CBT. It can be equipped with a top box and pannier kit.  Its 6KW motor is powered by an internal 100Ah battery which charges to 80% capacity  from an ordinary domestic 3 pin plug in around 7 hours.  The bike has 3 riding modes: eco, town and sport and a useful reversing gear. With twin ventilated disc brakes this is the ideal bike for riders needing a longer range.  Call to find out more on 0330 165 4133

Speed & Range

Our fastest scooter, the Ultra speeds along at up to 50mph which is great if your journey includes faster roads. Other models are ideal for crowded city streets but still travel at a useful 28 mph with a range of up to 90 miles.

All of our scooters can be charged from a normal domestic three-pin socket. Batteries can be easily removed from our electric scooters and charged, allowing you to charge up at work or at home. A full charge usually takes around 4 hours and will cost around 65 pence.
There is no road tax on an electric moped because they don’t use petrol. In addition, you can enter congestion and low emission zones free of charge with an electric scooter. Electric scooters are often allowed in bus lanes.
