Although the Freed-A 1500 looks and performs like an ordinary moped it has a 250 Watt motor, assistance pedals and travels at just over 15 mph which means that even if you don’t have a licence you can ride it legally on the road without a licence or helmet just like a pedal assisted electric bicycle (See The Highway Code).
The Freed-A 1500 comes standard with an insulated delivery box and phone holder and is ideal for last mile deliveries, local journeys to school, college, shopping and errands.
The 48V 12 Ah battery will deliver around 30 miles of range, costs less than £0.20p to charge, and an additional battery costs just £279.
No Licence, Helmet or
The 48V 12Ah batteries weigh just 12 Kg and can be charged on the bike or removed easily and charged at any three pin socket.
With a maximum speed of 15 miles an hour, you can legally ride the Freed-A 1500 bike without a licence.
Up to 60 mile range
The powerful 250W electric hub motor is virtually silent and delivers almost instant torque. The motor is driven by a single 48V 12AH battery which delivers a 30-mile range, costs, so you can buy an extra battery and keep one on charge while you ride on the other.
Each battery provides a 30-mile range on a single battery which means that you can keep two batteries for a 60-mile range.
